Glad you enjoyed it, but seems like you really pay a premium on the Chef coming to you.

You set the price per head and that determines the menu. I went with $20 a person per course.

Oh so it was $60 per person and not $120? That makes it better for sure. You’d probably spend about that on the ingredients to make it yourself in that case.

Which one? if it was $60 a person, that's a great price.

Bad math, $20 a person. I was thinking of adding one more app, and it was $10 a person more

Those are sort of like our wedding set. Handmade Italian, so they're a bit funky.

Trust me, worth every penny. This meal was amazing and plentiful. My daughters tasted quite a bit and we have enough left over to eat again tonight. Other than the bisque and two steaks, there was enough to feed four adults. Neither one of us ate our entire steak because we were stuffed and still had a course to go.

$120 per person? $240 per couple? There's nothing exceptionally hard to cook there.

For $120 but I damn well better be getting something I can't cook myself. Not some bacon wrapped shrimp and a steak. I better be getting some true top grade wagu beef or a delicacy I can't readily find somewhere.

Funny thing, when I started the other topic when I was thinking about doing this, people were saying it would be expensive, laughing at my $300-400 for two couples. They were saying $1000+

Based on what you got, you would have been better off paying the extra money it would seem.

Or maybe you could have put that money towards a decent hotel in New York for you and your daughter rather than looking at cash only places or Airbnbs in Harlem.
