Just read on Gonzo's Smokehouse Instagram that James Cruse (Central City BBQ, TD handle Crawfish From Arabi) is in ICU with COVID complications.
Hope he has a speedy recovery.
Update: Looks like he went home on 8/15/21.

His last Instagram post from a week ago is about his fitness progress and how he lost a bunch of weight and finally down under 200 lbs. Hope he pulls through, he seemed like a great guy whenever he was posting here.

That's what worries me about this sh!t. In-shape dude under 200 lbs in the ICU over it.

That he did. He and I met IRL through those threads and he invited me to a contest and encouraged me to start competing. I finally did and using what I learned from him, got a call in my very first contest. Great guy man. Prayers up.
