Was coming to post that. Rest of it

Hey guys, long post here, so bear with me.

I couldn't be in position to be typing this without thanking God first. He heard all of your prayers, and must've had bigger plans for me in life. I'm being discharged tomorrow, after no one knowing if I would've even made it till Wednesday morning. I was in critical condition when my loving parents drove me here on Tuesday evening, and the staff here at Oschsner St Bernard Parish Hospital took over. I couldn't even believe the support that I was receiving from my family, friends, ya'll on here, and other people from around the country and world. My sister Stephanie did a hell of a job keeping ya'll updated with what the medical staff was doing over the course of my stay here. There were plenty of other people sharing these updates, along with adding other posts of love and support. I'll eventually get around to thanking individually over the next couple days. I still have a ton of texts, facebook messages, and Instagram messages to reply to as well. Each message is just as important.
I have a long way to go to complete recovery. I have to strengthen my lungs, and the pulmonary embolism is something I'll have to take care of for a while.
Everyone who knows me knows that I'm extremely driven, motivated, and I was never going to let this get the best of me if I could help it.
There are so many other people that I want to thank. My family first, love ya'll. My close friends, love ya'll. My bbq family, love ya'll. My local bbq family, that some would consider rivals, we are a community, and I love ya'll too. My friends and followers on here, love ya'll. Even the people that I've never met that has shown me support, love ya'll too.
To my Central City BBQ family, I CAN'T thank y'all enough for the hardwork, dedication, and tireless amount of work that ya'll have had to endure. Ya'll are unbelievable, the restaurant couldn't have still run without ya'll. From the top with Marc, Aaron, and Donna, love ya'll. To my guys in the pits, Dustin, Phil, Joey, and Greg, love ya'll. The front and back of house staffs will always be amazing to me, and will always have my support.
I have a long way to go, and still have to navigate a busy travel Fall, including trying to win another World Championship.
If I've missed anyone, love ya'll too

James Cruse
