Pickles and a sandwich

When you fix yourself a sandwich do you have pickle with it? A spear on the side? Pickle chips on the sandwich itself? No pickle at all? What kind? Kosher? Or my favorite—bread and butter. I have to be in the mood. Don’t put a pickle on my sandwich most times

Most po-boys and for sure hamburgers get some sliced dill pickles on them.
I make my own pickles from the cucumbers I grow each spring/summer and make dill and bread & butter types and they are a hit with the family.
I will make sliced bread & butter types and spears or whole dills.

I slice up a Klaussen spear and put it on the sandwich. I eat the rest of that spear while im making the sandwich

Kosher dills on ham/turkey sandwich for sure, along with Mayo/brown mustard and a little pepper. Toast the bread

I have been in a phase where I put about 9 hamburger dill slices on every ham and cheese sandwich, basically covering the bottom bread on top of the dijon, under the ham. Might be pregnant.

Substitute pepperoncini for pickles. You’ll be glad you did.

This thread just made me realize I ordered a club sandwich today and did not receive a pickle spear on the side as promised. Shameful.
