They are well known in and around Houston for their pork chop. We were there just the other night and they were offering a chateaubriand special with three sauces that was also very good. We've never had a bad meal there.

Try the turtle soup to start. I really like it. The pork chops are great, but the filets are excellent. Right around the corner from my house

Taste of Texas is a better choice if you have options, but Perry's is pretty top notch as well.

There are at least 5 other steakhouses in Houston that are better than Perry's, but their pork chop is great and there's no denying that.

In fact, the only reason I go to Perry's is for the pork chop, so...get the pork chop.

I love this dessert. They cook it up fresh at your table.

I got the symphony kabob at the one in Austin and it was awesome. I wasn't looking to spend money on a porkchop.

Only reason to go IMO. If you go for the steak you could just go somewhere else. Porkchop is the only reason I go. That and the turtle soup/french onion, plus one of the desserts they
make tableside (I think there's three, all damn fine). They open on Friday's for lunch, and they have a lunch special porkchop, $12.

If I was in the steakhouse business, and my best dish was a damn porkchop, I'd be embarrassed.

Porkchop. And I'm not a dessert guy, but the banana's foster beats any in New Orleans. Fact.

As others have said. Pork chop. Worth every penny. We go once a month for work on Wednesday's here in Clear Lake. For lunch on Wed and Fri it's only 10.99. Best deal on earth.
