Cornbread for the mother fricking win bitches! And as a side note, dirty rice is an acceptable substitute. Hell, make both cornbread dressing and dirty rice sides!

Cornbread is fine, but Oyster is superior and it's not close. Of course, I don't have a child's palate.

Oyster dressing done right is awesome.

Done wrong is terrible

Cornbread dressing is usually just…cornbread dressing. Needs gravy

I make oyster dressing using cornbread for the win. The sweet and salty mix makes a perfect bite.

Cornbread, of course!

Oyster is disgusting.

Now, in my family cornbread dressing is chicken and cornbread dressing. A whole chicken, 2 pans of cornbread, 1 dozen chopped boiled eggs, Pepperidge farm herb breadcrumbs, chopped celery, chopped white onion (half), chopped green onions, chopped green and red bellpeppers, chicken broth, minced garlic, spices....oh yeah. It's crispy on the edges, brown on top and bottom but moist as a mf in the middle.

It's a meal itself!
