Outdoor Kitchen: Pick Two (Grill/Griddle/Egg)

Planning a covered outdoor kitchen area and looking for advice.
If you only had space for 2/3 which would you go with?

Grill and egg
Egg: smoking, pizza, high heat searing
Grill: when you don’t want to deal with charcoal
Kamado Joe makes a griddle attachment that fits where grates would normally go, not sure if BGE has something similar

Grill and griddle.
If you know how to use a grill right you can smoke anything.

Grill is useless with an egg
Griddle is too but I’d rather the griddle I guess

Grill and egg
You can get attachments that turn either into a griddle
ETA: this is my set up. I use the grill if I’m making burgers or hotdogs for the kids and don’t want to spend much time. I use the egg primarily for longer cooks or reverse searing
I use the griddle attachment to make smash burgers on my grill

I don’t want to sway the opinions but I am learning towards egg and griddle.
Im slowly understanding there is nothing these two can do that a grill can’t

I’ve got a grill and an egg. So, I’d say grill and an egg.
But, you could always go with an egg and a griddle.
Or, a grill and griddle.
Whatever you do, do not get an egg, a grill, and a griddle. That won’t work. Trust me.

To expound on this a bit. Any ceramic type grill takes a bit to get to the temp you want but it’s 100% worth waiting if its 500 for steaks or low and slow for a butt or ribs. It would also be nice to fire up a gas heated griddle to cook up breakfast, burgers, stir fry or similar type foods where you need to just get it going more quickly and a larger flat surface.

I have a Primo Oval XL and a Weber Genesis. Couldn't be happier with this set up, within a reasonable budget.

No reason to have both griddle and a grill, since there are grill attachments that convert your grill to a griddle.
I personally keep a grill, a smoker and a fire pit with cooking attachments and have never felt as though something was missing.

As a last resort maybe.

I did same when I built my house and chose the griddle to pair with the egg (built in space) Cannot beat the griddle for eggs, bacon, stir fry, easy quick burgers, etc. The egg handles all the things the grill could anyways.

I'd do Egg and Griddle. If you ever get the envie to grill, there are plenty of cheap rigs you can go grab, then store it away after.
But I think this just comes down to personal preference, and what you like to cook.
