Oh Well, A Question About Mr. Ed's Oyster Bar (Metairie)

It's too complicated to go into, but I find myself going with bro and sis in law to this place tomorrow night. None of them nor I have been there . . . like I said, complicated.
Anyway, is it horrible? Is there anything I should order that will make me less unhappy about going out there?

It was pretty good when I last went about 6 months ago. Really good fried seafood.

Mr. Ed is actually one of the nicer restaurant owners in the city. He owns four very successful restaurants from Kenner to the Quarter. I'd say he is doing something right.

There are three Mr Ed restaurants in the New Orleans area that I know of (the one in Metairie off Causeway, Kenner, and Bucktown) plus I believe he owns Austin's and some burger place on West Esplanade.
As far as the food, it's a pretty good neighborhood place with solid fried seafood and really good fried chicken.

It's great IMO. He's done an excellent job continuing a tradition. Can't say anything bad about his joints.
