I'm stuck in a dining rut. Help me break out of it. Suggest places you like (emphasis on food quality/deliciousness, not on decor, service, or portion size). I'll kick it off with two places I never see to go, though they're pretty tasty:
--Canal St Bistro (mmm, chilaquiles)
--1000 Figs (falafel thread reminded me of it)
What'cha got?

Does Boucherie or Carrolton Market fit this?

I don't know if it's "under the radar" or not, but I like Paladar 511.

1000 Figs is great. I love the Falafel Feast.

Milk Bar doesn't get talked about enough. Best sandwiches in NOLA imo

Costera in the old La Thai building. May be my best meal of 2019 so far

Stumbled in curious one night during Mardi Gras, and have been back 3 times since. It is phenomenal.

I'm no geographic purist. How about "greater metro area including southshore" as a clarifier?

RE: Mais Arepas--that's one I forget, but the handful of times I've been were all excellent. Thanks for that reminder.

RE: Costera, it's new...I haven't been yet. But it's not too far off my regular routes, so I'm sure I'll get there soon.

Bennachin Restaurant
Not sure if it’s under the radar, but I used to love going there when I frequented New Orleans

Agreed. Titos front 'porch' with a few mojitos and snacks while watching the sights roll by.

Zasu in the old Rue 197 space on Carrolton in Mid City. Its new, so under the radar. But with Sue Zemanick at the helm, it won't be for long. Outstanding food.
