New Orleans Food Crawl- need recommendations in leiu of the pandemic

Going to be in NOLA for 4 days for a wedding. Staying downtown at the Marriott Riverside and haven't been to NOLA since the pandemic. I assume some places have closed or have limited service? Hit me up with some of the best local restaurants, from fine dining to bar food and oyster houses/poboys. I will probably use Uber to get around but which good restaurants are in sketchy areas that I should avoid?

Costera is going to be high on a lot of lists here. Good area. Need to uber from downtown.
Paladar 511. Good area, walking to and from is through the FQ so just do your thing.
Elysian Bar is supposedly back open, really cool setting, decent bar bites and drinks. Alright hood, same as Paladar, walk is through the FQ for you.
Saw someone bragging on Evangeline the other day. Doesn't stand out for me, but will probably give it a shot soon. FQ location. Decent area, walkable for you.
Peche is an old standby. CBD.
Sidecar is the new addition to Rusty Nail. Great outdoor setting if the weather is right. CBD.
Claret. New place, menu can be hit or miss. Have had some great dishes there. Lower Garden. Alright hood. Probably want to uber if after dark.
Birdies is a breakfast/brunch place next to Claret. Really good. Would take it over Satsuma and Surrey's.
New Saint Vincent hotel has an interesting setup. Multiple places to eat and drink. Nice setting. San Lorenzo was good, but nothing groundbreaking. Magazine in LGD. Alright hood. Probably want to uber if after dark.
Gris Gris is just down Magazine. Worth a trip. South La food, some cajun, creole, and southern mix.
Gabrielle. Cajun-ish food. Hood. Uber and head on a swivel.
Addis. Ethiopian. Hood. Uber.
The Chloe. St Charles Ave. Uptown.

Fightin Tigers just about covered everything, but I'll add Bacchanal to this list.
Great for wine/drinks and small plates in a unique setting. Usually have live music and outdoor seating as well.

There wasn't much of a criteria, and going to good restaurants in NOLA kind of means you will be in a sketchy area while traveling or while there.
Not sure if they wanted new restaurants or old staples that are still open. The pandemic caveat made me think of newer, possibly lesser known, options.

One that wasn't mentioned but is close to where you are that we enjoy is Mr. B's, especially for the Sunday Jazz Brunch. There are tons of great places though, not easy to narrow it down.

You could check off raw oyster, fried oyster, oyster sandwich, and nostalgic old school joint all with one stop here.
Their "oyster loaf" isn't a po-boy but it would hit the spot.
Cochon and Toups serve good regional food. Cochon will be closer for OP.

Thanks all. I’m getting hungry looking at some of these. I went to Maypop about 2 years ago and loved it. They had a funky fusion of Thai, Italian and Cajun dishes. Any more places in NOLA have that vibe I should try? We will probably mix it up with seafood, Italian, Asian etc just to keep it interesting. What’s a good fine dining place I should try for seafood?

Mister Mao does some fusion stuff, their menu changes a lot and is all over the map.

I don’t know about NOLA but lots of restaurants across the US can’t get workers and while they once were great places to go, after Corona, it’s either shut down or the service is horrible. I was reading about Luke in NOLA and many say the service is horrible which is probably due to the virus. Make sense?

Le Chat Noir is opening soon in the Warehouse/CBD. Same owners as Bearcat Cafe so you can almost guarantee it’s going to be great.
