A friend of mine would like to know some additional information of where you found your avatar pic. For research purposes and all that

I was given one for TG from a Laffy place, wish I'd get one every year!

I've had the same luck. I HIGHLY recommend using a thermometer and a bacon weave wrap to not over dry... As for the previous poster complaining about the drip. Use a catch pan and spray a metal mesh with olive oil to prop up the bird off the grill grate to keep from sticking.
In addition keep just a little bit of water in the pan to keep the pan from smoking up. A deflector from a green egg or komado helps. For a Treagar it's not needed.

Delicious. I recommend trying a turducken po’boy from Bellue’s on scenic Highway

All that is out of my league.
I'm only allowed in the kitchen at the camp to get beer or wash dishes.
I was given the same in chicken, also great!

Was years ago, but remember having a turducken sandwich somewhere in the square in Oxford? Wasn’t half bad.

Had my first turducken experience today actually. Pretty good stuff but I haven't decided if it's worth $100 yet.

Boudin or a good dirty rice.

THe one time we did one it was super greasy. Like the pan had an inch or two of grease by the end.
That’s what it looked like on the Saints game today, greasy but delicious at the same time.

I usually get one from Chris’s Specialty Meats.
I cook mine in the oven.

Often too dry.
I bet it would kick arse if you did a long sous vide in a brine bag then tossed it in oven/smoker to crisp the skin at the end.

This is the alcohol version of Turducken. Just dumb.

I could be wrong but wasn't the first place Madden first had it was on the West Bank, maybe Belle Chasse?
