Tripe is delicious dude.

Only time I ever had it was at an outdoor barbecue at a hacienda in Argentina. I agree with you that it is delicious.

My dad ate Limburger Cheese. It smelled like sneakers that hadn't been washed in 20 years. I don't even know if stores still sell that crap.

Banana & mayonnaise sandwich--how could I have forgotten my stepfather's favorite sandwich? He also ate liverwurst sandwiches, and mom liked olive loaf.

Wisconsin Limburger Cheese can be purchase at Piggly Wiggly in Baton Rouge. I only know because my neighbor made Calabaza Soup and was very surprised that he did not have to substitute for Limburger.

Chiken hearts, livers, and gizzard stew. While individually they are some of my favorites together it just turns into a big bowl of iron flavored stew with chewy chunks. MawMaw said they got the bag of "leftovers" for .40 a pound and thats why we ate it at least twice a month.

You know my dad ate this when I was little and my mom forbade him to feed it to me... but he did anyway. Lol. He passed last year, thanks for the forgotten memory.

Pickled pigs feet and hog brains were popular on my mom's side.

Have y'all ever seen the cholesterol in a can of hog brains? My uncle claims they make you smart. He graduated valedictorian and has a degree in mathematics from UT.

Chicken feet are delicacies in China. Not sure why but they are.

It is a staple of the Chinese diet. I made chicken foot soup from scratch.
