Fun Fact:
- husband and wife own the brewery
- oldest brewery in Ms
- he is an electrical engineer, she chemical engineer
- she actually creates all the brews
- he still has his day job
- they have a 16,000 expansion going on
- they actually brew/bottle Bayou Teche
- they roast the pecans for Southern Pecan on site
- on first Friday of every month they have a band from 5-9 and you can try their bourbon aged beers along with samples from your free pint glass
- tour 10 bucks and free pint glass

Now some pictures:

I'm thinking of going back Oct 4 (first Friday in Oct) and check it out. Took us 2 hours from Ascension Parish to get to the Brewery and 30 minutes once we entered Mississippi

That's not bad. If/when we went we would leave out of either baton rouge(bro in laws) or Pierre part(mother in laws). Getting down there for a Friday event would be hard. Are they even open on Saturdays?

Yup we went yesterday, they do tours from 11am to 3pm on Saturday. Was funny, we got there and it just looks like a building and I was walking just looking until I ran into owners. Say and chatted with them then they told me where the office was to go and request a tour. Nice people and they seemed down to earth. But it looked abandoned till we ran into them

Nice review. We will probably be there on the 3rd, but might try to make it on Friday to check out the bourbon aged stuff as well.

Gonna hit up Crooked Letter while we are in MS too.

Did you find any good bottles shops to pick up some good beer?

They have one right down the road which isn't bad, they had a couple things I can't find in La but nothing earth shattering. We ended up at The Ugly Pirate to drink Southern Gentleman on tap

The only one of their beers I've tried is the Southern Pecan, but I liked it a lot! Eager to try some of the others next time I'm down South.

Bay Tobacco on 630 is the name of the place we stopped at... Bought some Oatmeal Stout's by Buffalo Sweat, Devils Pale Ale, and some seasonals that I've never been able to find in La
