My feelings on burgers are the same with pizza

It's not exactly rocket science. IMO there a ton of average pizza and burger joints and the ones that stand apart are very good. I don't recall going to a decent place and having a god awful spit it out bad burger or. pizza. Part of it too might be that my wife and I eat really healthy so the few times a year we eat burgers I do the research and try a place that's got great reviews.

shite I can go to wal mart right now and buy some ground meat, buns and fixins and grill up a damn good burger. Not that hard

That's why I think the ones who ground it in house, make their own bread and have quality toppings stand above the rest.

I'm with you. Roaches are so rare in BR that this is absurd.

I used to love that place. They have one in the Casino in NOLA, but it's not the same. I used to really like how you can make your burger anyway you like.

Vortex Burgers (Many different varieties) are some of the best we've had. Like the "Funky" atmosphere in there too.(On Peachtree)........

Mooyah Three trips to OAK LAWN REST, same results the beef had a fowl aftertaste. Tried to call the place no response. Tasted like the beef had been frozen and then thawed. All three times I visited same thing. Three strikes and your out. They store the beef in a drawer beneath the grill. My guess it raises the temperature of the beef. NEVER AGAIN.

Five Guys reminds me of the Dearman's burgers that they served back when it was a drugstore. The ones they make now are not bad (or before they closed due to fire) but I miss the old style burgers and fries. I really like Frankie's burgers too.

I like Freddys, kinda pricy though considering those thin patties they use.

If I'm dishing out top $ for a burger I'd rather hit up Curbside

Problem with the places mentioned is you have to eat in the place, if you take out, by the time you get home they are soggy and bad.

My rankings:
Burgersmith
Mooyah
Five Guys
Smash

I don't go to Fat Cow enough.
Still want to try Curbside, I'm just not on that end of town enough.

Heck, I'd rather Freddy's or Riverside Patty or City Pork & Pie over any of those
