Meat & 3's are usually a step up from Piccadilly, but it's the same concept. Pick your entree, add some sides, grab a tea. Most of them around here are mom & pop shops that have been there for years. On paper they're blue collar places, but you see a lot of white collar people there, too. Who doesn't love pork chops, mac n cheese, green beans smothered with bacon fat, and cornbread?

One of the things I actually miss about Ruston is lunch at the Blue Light Cafe. It was right by the office and the pork chop was bigger than the plate they served it on.

Great cheap comfort food.

Bergerons is great. I went right after opening and it wasn't great. They are really hitting their stride now, I usually go at least once a week. They are legit.
