Be careful with those Jack Stands. They look to be undersized for what you are trying to do. In other words you’ll have to probably fully extend them to reach the frame and then they will not be stable. I’d return them and get the 12 tons....

I have a 28” Browning Citori that I bought used for $1200. Lots of guys are going to longer barrels so you could probably find a good deal on gun trader. I wouldn’t buy a lower end over/under. If you want to save money, try and find a used Ruger Red Label....

Big Bend is awesome, where are you located? If you take the trip to Big Bend and want to do some off-roading go to the State Park vs the National Park. Most of the National Park is paved. Most off-roading in Texas is on private lands so that’s why people recommend parks....
