My mother in law just found a made in America 6-piece magnalite pot set still in the box. Probably from the early 80s

Going to give them a go this weekend.

Oh you're so lucky! I had to leave some behind in my divorce. Missing my favorite Magnalite pot.

Dude. Awesome find. My fiance' has the roaster and it's my all-time favorite piece of cookware.

I ask all the time if I can have it when he dies and he says no because he's going to be buried with it.

Brought my cast iron pots to the camp , all I use is magnalite. And my dad died from starving to death , he forgot how to swallow due to Alzheimer's .

Worth it!

I’ve been using the set my parents got as a wedding present 40+ years ago. Gave me all of it when I graduated from LSU in ‘98.

....where was I?

My wife usually won’t eat anything I cook in a Magnalite pot.
Aluminum leaches into the food and causes Alzheimer’s.
She gets that from her mother.

I told her if she’s worried about aluminum getting into her body, not to read the ingredients in her deodorant.

After this thread, I got the hankering for some and made it this weekend.

Honesty, just google Cajun Ninja sticky chicken. I and everyone I know make it the exact same way.

This.

I also enjoy sticky chicken with a grease gravy. Pretty much the same process with a few tweaks.

I made the Cajun Ninja one, and it's no better than the damn Cajun Power jar. Just get this and a bunch of leg quarters,
