Planned on making a shrimp and crab gumbo tonight until I saw the price of lump crabmeat!

Looks like it’s shrimp and sausage gumbo instead.

Turkey necks doubled in price since my last visit. 100% inflation.

Damn, some of you just don't like to admit you got hosed by the stores that sold you crabmeat for that price.

Check out their ad for the 3 day specials from last Friday-Sunday.

Do you think every store in the country is in on a price fixing scam except the one you found the most amazing deal?

Full pound, frozen-----that's all I know since the wife put it down in the freezer when she got home to use later this week to make crab cakes.

Hey, if some thought I was lying, it's on them whether they saw the ad of not. I'm not in a habit of lying, especially over something so trivial as the price of crabmeat.

Thanks for posting the ad for those that doubted. Now they can wonder where they could have better spent that extra $30+ they paid for their crabmeat.

I’m sure most people were referencing fresh jumbo lump and not frozen, likely pasteurized, regular lump.

Look at the time and date of my original post----brah. It was on Monday morning just after midnight when I responded to the OP.

The sale ended when Canseco's closed on Sunday night.
