I think Deanies in the quarter can do that but it's a big cut below the places you listed.

Crescent city steakhouse has a couple of rooms that can accommodate that as well.

Chemin a la Mer has a private room overlooking the Mississippi River that is perfect for this size. I have used it multiple times with great food and service.

Their sister restaurant Osteria Lupe should as well, large space and excellent food.
They also have Brutto that is great and can accommodate large parties

That's a good size circle jerk you've got going.

Lots of great suggestions here. I’ll add Rizzuto’s in Lakeview. Crescent City Steakhouse also has an upstairs room.

I had a private tour of Tableau and was surprised as to the private rooms that seemingly small space held. Not sure about 18, but an option.

Mandina's does private parties and can accommodate 18 easy.

Make sure you bring salt and pepper with you. That could be the worst steak in the city.

I might look into Commander’s or Mr. Johns then.

It’s pretty bad and totally not the vibe of the other places you have done this. I frequent the bar there fairly often with friends and every so often I order food just to remind myself how bad the steak is.
In my opinion, Commanders does Brunch 100 times better than dinner. But, it’s a better option than Charlie’s and if you want steak, Charlie’s isn’t even close to being in the same ball park as Mr. John’s.

I don’t really care for Charlie’s either. It’s a meh steak that is now over priced compared to years past

I don’t think Charlie’s is terrible, but it’s way downmarket compared to Mr. Johns or Commanders. It is what it is. An old school New Orleans neighborhood steak place. If you’re looking to wow people, look elsewhere.

I host multiple 50+ people group dinners each year in NOLA. The past two years I've used Ralphs on the Park and it was great (have them turn on the AC early), Commander's tasting menu is amazing and surprisingly affordable. Court of Two Sisters, Dickie Brennan's, Arnaud's (I think), Tableau (hasn't been as good since Covid). I inquired at Doris Metropolitan on a recent site visit and was told they do private dining as well.

Gonna be a whole lotta chat about truck tires and zero-turn mowers.

Meril is a good choice. Check out Copper Vine too.
