Something away from the Quarter & Jazzfest and casual dress (shorts, etc).

We've been to RnO's a few times, so not that.

No chain restaurant

Any particular part of town? Is this for lunch or dinner?

Dinner, preferably in direction back to BR (like RnO's).

Susan Spicer’s Rosedale is on your way out and has some great dishes. It has a casual vibe, especially for Jazz Fest so shorts wouldn’t be an issue.
