This has become my goto Mexican in the city and the last thing I want is having to wait. It's bad enough the place only can handle maybe 20 covers.

Mosca's may not be right for him...but a hell of a restaurant.
Have not been in years since now in Dallas.
but OYSTERS MOSCA's is superb.

Put a big table of mosca newbs on oysters moscas few weeks ago, you would’ve thought it was the best bite they’ve ever had

Matter of fact, everything we ate was great. Best mosca’s meal I think I’ve ever had

Try to get a table at Pascal's Manale asap.

Seither's in Hanrahan (though the establishment is very pro NOLA music and might have a crowd there too.) Really good food.

Headed toward BR, Casa Garcia really is pretty good.
