Hot. 100%. They're both good, but a hot butter lobster roll is easily superior IMO.
Strongly agree.

One of each.
Yep. They'll be like 4-5 inches each and $18 per I'm sure, but I wouldn't be able to choose.

I’m nervous to do them at home because of the cost of the lobsters relative to my lack of experience cooking them
They go on sale around town for half of what you'll pay for a roll today. Just keep an eye out.

Likely a lot more than that.

I just saw the 30+ line of people standing in the 48 degree rain with umbrellas on IG. Y'all better report back with pics. Way too cold for me.

If you have the whole food app, they will do sales every couple months on lobster

Ridiculous. Word was they only had two people in truck.
Planned on going with wife and three kids(<5yo). Pulled up at 530. Saw line and sent them to canes to feed kids. An hour later I was only half way there.

It’s pretty disappointing. To think that many people showed up in the cold/rain and the line was still so slow. The number of people that drove by and left must have been huge.

You should order one of each! Can’t go wrong either way, IMO. I’ve had exception lobster rolls both ways. These are two that immediately come to mind - hot lobster roll from Neptune Oyster in Boston; cold picnic style lobster roll from Bite Into Maine in Portland.

One of those foods I just don't get. They are bland and boring. And I've tried them at several different places in Mass and Maine and it just doesn't do it for me.
This for me. No so much Mass but have had several in trips to Maine. Both hot and cold. I’ve always longed for a bottle of hot sauce then something else off the menu.
I’m not a big lobster guy though

I'm disappointed in the lack of photos from last night's event

Sounds like none of them stuck around for the 2 hour line.

Don't recall eating a hot roll, but it does sound better than cold. I'll eat them but I've never been a fan of them, at least cold.
