I’m done with them. Last few orders have had multiple plugged cigars and their customer service is horrible now. I can take one or the other, but not both

Recently bought some from Fox Cigar and have no complaints. Packaged well and came with a mini boveda.

My Father Connecticut this evening. First My Father I've smoked and impressed.

Had a relatively bad experience on my first order from CI. 8 days sitting in "pending" status. Finally got in touch with someone who said it was a stock issue, but it somehow shipped out that very same day. They are opening a "superstore" in The Woodlands and hoping their good prices are the same at the brick and mortar location.

Happy Friday gents! Trying a new Drew Estates tonight.

I have never ordered from CI, but I do like their stores. They usually have a great selections of cigars and the bar has great whiskeys.

I’ve been smoking Padron series 5000. Picked up a box a month ago. Great cigar at about $10 per. I love the 1926 and 1964 series, but they’re just too dang expensive. I’ve had a 1926 80 years figurado in my humidor over a year now and haven’t been able to find the right time to justify lighting it. Anyone here ever try one of those? Is it worth the $35 I paid for it?
ETA: just wanted to get this thread back on page one. I enjoy seeing the variety of smokes on here and the opinions. Keep it up.

I find the smaller violas (sizes) of the Padron 64 & 26 smoke a hell of a lot better than the larger sizes. Also, the age plays a big factor too. If you can get one that was rolled in 2016 or earlier, you got gold.

BTW: I smoke the thousand series on a weekly basis. I keep a box of the 6000 on hand 24/7.

I’ve smoked a lot of good cigars and many cheap Drew Estate factory smokes. But yesterday mornings Factory Smoke Connecticut Shade gordo with my coffee, on the porch, nailed it. For whatever reason it was just right.

This is becoming one of my go to sticks on a Friday night. Paired with a little Maker's Mark on this find night. Ready for a big football weekend.

Trying something new after a great Tigers victory.

Did you like that one from CAO? I haven’t had it yet, but CAO usually comes through.

I think that was the 1st CAO I have tried. I was not overly impressed with it. I have seen guys posting it so I thought I would give it a shot. It started out with an odd taste which slowly faded away after about 10-15min. I will say my palate is still developing so I may try it again. The shop I go to kept these on bottom shelf closer to the door so that might have something to do with it too.

CAO is a shell of what it used to be. When they sold out to General Cigar Co., the quality fell hard.

If you can get your hands on a CAO before the company sale, you got gold.

The store in The Colony is nice.
