Lay's Stax are so far ahead of Pringles in every metric, it's no contest

Pringles are too thin imo, Stax's thicker texture is by far more enjoyable

Taste is much more robust than Pringles as well

Pringles has upped their game with their Hot Ones offerings, but Stax is still superior overall.

btw, Stax Buffalo Ranch is severely underrated in the snack game

I used to be a big fan of Pringles, but after trying Stax I got hooked, and Pringles just taste weird to me now. But the few stores I visit never seem to have Stax anymore.

Better crunch, better taste, not as oily

For whatever reason, the ones I buy seem to have a number of chips broken at the time of purchase much more than Pringles and don't seem to hold up as well in the canister after opening.

The comments are in direct conflict with the up/down vote ratio. I don't know what to make of this. To buy or not to buy....

Saying a Pringle knockoff is better than a Pringle is a hell of a claim to make, sir.

While on the subject of new/sleeper chips, came across these for the first time. They’re incredible.

It's called Buffalo Wings with Ranch... Not Buffalo Ranch.

an interesting tidbit I just learned about Pringles

Pringles are not technically potato chips. They are made from dehydrated, processed potato flakes and other ingredients like wheat flour and cornstarch, not from sliced potatoes. In 1975, the US Food and Drug Administration ruled that Pringles couldn't be called "potato chips" because they contained only 42% potato - so instead they are" Potato Crisps"

Paprika Pringles are the best. It’s a shame you have to special order them in the US.
