About 20 people ages 7 to 70.

Preferably not a chain. Recent thread about Pat's was enticing. Fezzo's - how's it?

TIA

Fezzo's has gone downhill, try Don's Seafood Hut they have a large table in the back.

Pete's is a good recommendation because they have two party rooms that you can reserve.

Fezzo's, haven't personally had that since their first year in Broussard, but they do have the space.

I'd personally go with any of: Agave/El Paso/Azteca's/La Caretta because I feel Mexican restaurants can handle the chaos of a 20-person table very well.

If true, a shame.

The owner is good people, and we had our night before wedding party at the Crowley one years ago. They took very good care of us and everyone was more than satisfied with the food.

Bon Temps Grill used to take groups in their old location, so now that they’re in a place with much more seating, they could handle it for sure.

What exactly are you looking for?
Lunch, dinner?
Casual, formal?

Deano's may be an option.

Went to Don's off Johnston St. Had a great time. Service was outstanding and all the dishes were good. If I wanted to be persnickety then they could've scaled back some of the Romano on the grilled oysters but otherwise only props.

Place be packed-up tight when we left.

Thanks 91TIGER for the recommendation.

I don't think so but I['m not even sure what people at the opposite end of the tables from me ordered. Going off memory we had:
Char grilled oysters
Seafood & spinach
Alligator bites
Stuffed catfish
Shrimp-n-grits
Catfish Acadian
Chicken & Sausage Gumbo
Shrimp Po-boy
Catfish Po-boy

All in all a very nice time.

I’m pretty sure both Deano’s have rooms you can reserve. I know the one on Kaliste Saloom does. Plus they have a wide variety of food, not just pizza.

We ate at Don's a few weeks back. It had been years.

Food was outstanding.
