The pastry chef at Cochon/Butcher/Herbsaint makes some great stuff. Including king cakes.

We had probably 6-8 King Cakes shipped to us last year, either from Customers or our guys that work in Louisiana. A couple from Randazzo's, and I remember those being the best.

my favorites in Nola as well. the other Randazzo's locations just aren't up to snuff.

and like Ross said .. that cream cheese from Julie Ann's in Shreveport is bomb.

I noticed all the messicans eating king cake today. I thought maybe they'd jumped the gun. But I don't know all these catholic things, I'm a christian.
