The mayo was used to cover up the taste of the "meatballs". It was probably self defense

I put mayonnaise on any sandwich. I don’t trust people that don’t put mayonnaise on sandwiches

I learned from my aunt that mayo, butter, and red sauce baked together (like on bread) makes a tangy tasty ricotta cheese like layer.

There is a joke about you and mayonnaise in here somewhere.

I like the condiment known as mayonnaise.

I probably wouldn't eat a meatball sub if it didn't have mayonnaise.

Yeah, right. Sure you did.

But since you brought it up, mayo goes well on most sandwiches. If you put mayo on a cheeseburger, why not a meatball parm sub?

Mayo, especially hot/heated mayo, makes me want to prison shank my own throat.

When my wife reaches for mayo to squirt on a plate for some type of dipping concoction from hell we lock eyes and we both know im thinking about what another life would be like without her. Im going to beat her today just because I had to think about it.

I was not aware that mayo in a meatball sub isn’t standard practice.

Don't knock it til you try it baw. Done right a mix of mayo and tomato sauce is actually quite nice. I'll do it on a meatball sub.

leftover meatloaf sandwich with mayo is delicious

not much difference

it's ground meat on two slices of bread which is often eaten with tomato product and mayo combo

I have no problem with it.

I put ketchup on my chili cheese dogs though so maybe I’m not the best judge.

Meatball marinara is about the only thing i’ll eat at subway. Usually just add shredded cheese, bell peppers, red onion and spinach. Maybe a couple pepperonis.
