Watched on the DVR. Thought Jay's persinality came off great except for a few of his critisms of other contestants. While he was pretty spot on, a few came off borderline unlikable. Might need to watch his spice level a bit. Overall, I think he's a contender so far. His personality plays so well in camera.
I think they kept idiot hashtag guy for the drama.
I read that Bobby and Giada are allegedly an item. Wonder if this show was the start, assuming the rumors to be true?

They do a pilot of their own show, and if it does well it gets picked up. A few bigger names (like Guy Fieri, hate on him all you want, but he's huge) have come through the show.

Food Network has become a complete joke. It's the today show of cooking channels. They've narrowed their target audience to only stay at home moms.

I could see a show similar to Guys where Jay goes around to showcase awesome bars being successful
obviously that would have nothing to do with cooking, but I don't know if the Food Network has many primtime cooking shows
