Don’t get the love for these. Nothing wrong with them of course, but people seem very opinionated about them.

Jersey Mike's > Subway.
It's a decent fast food type sub.

Best philly in town. Not that there is much competition

I’ve only eaten at the one in Hammond. Always good. The tuna is a really good Lenten option if you get it Mike’s way.

Try the Big Kahuna... It's a philly Cheesesteak with Jalapenos and mushrooms... It is the Bomb...

I wouldn’t eat it if I lived in the northeast but there is a shortage of solid Italian subs/delis in this area so I go once a year when they give out the free birthday sub. Looking forward to Francolinis opening in NOLA I hope it doesn’t suck.

Publix has a very good sub, for the price probably the best you can get. I honestly don’t think they’ve raised the price in years.
FTR, I like Jersey Mikes and Firehouse, but Publix tops them both.

I don’t understand the perceived hate for Firehouse

Jersey Mike's is my favorite. I eat there about once a week. Club Supreme on wheat, Mike's way.

Faye's on Third street and Inga's by campus are Blimpie that wanted to stop paying the franchise fee. The menu and sandwiches are exactly the same as when they were Blimpie.

Yes. Get the gabbagool.

The only time I ever ate a blimpie was that one that used to be connected to a gas station on Nicholson. Was not impressed. Now fayes used to be my jam when I worked downtown. I used to eat there once a week probably. Ingas is good too though I haven't been there probably since college.

Big kahuna is my favorite sandwich there.
