Have reservations to Irene's this week and wondering what people's thoughts and reccomendations are. Menu looks great but haven't heard much about it, except from the wife and her friends.

One of my favorite restaurants in the city. Hopefully you get seated in Dan’s section.

The oysters Irene are a good appetizer, and I love the lamb chops.

Excellent creole Italian place. Usually has a very good off the menu seafood special.

Uhhhhh

Anyway it’s been many years since I’ve been there because creole Italian is not my thing, but it is good. The duck is very good.

When we go to Nola we usually go there. When they have them the soft shell creams are great. Lamb chops are great and I think the creole cheesecake is one of the best I’ve ever had.

I haven't been to the new place yet (I must correct that soon) but the old one was always great. I think it is quietly one of the best restaurants in the city.
