I was thinking of this too, it’s probably somewhere like Texas Roadhouse or Chili’s (the one on Pinhook is pretty busy). If we’re talking about non-chain restaurants I would think La Fonda would be pretty high up there due to their alcohol sales, too.

La Fonda would probably be as good a guess as any with the alcohol, especially when you consider the law firm crowd gathering by 11:45am on Friday.
Don's is probably a pretty good guess as well. The bar there is always packed. Awesome Old Fashioned, and while I hate the way they do that weird thing with their fried shrimp, a dozen jacked up oysters and cup of seafood gumbo is one of the best combos in town.

If I'm taking out the huge national chains, I'd have to say Roux Pour in Town Center, especially since they're open on Sundays, with a "NOLA Brunch" that packed with a line out the door at times.
A stand alone, only owned in town restaurant might be tough since the area is alot of people like me who move there for jobs in Houston and wanting good schools for kids.
Probably Japaneiro's. I'm not the biggest fan of it (the owner does have two other places I like), but the combination of sushi/raw fish that people will shovel out money for and the booze consumption, with it packed quite a bit, is probably the best guess.

But I seriously doubt a Chinese restaurant has the highest gross sales in NOLA

The Superiors in BR both average around 6-7 million per year each. The average Walkons is at 100k per week with the average Texas Roadhouse around 115k per week. Really impressive considering the guest check average of the latter two. To blow the boards mind a little more-the average sales for a Canes is 3 million per year. That’s really impressive for fast food.

Yep, they are. I wish it was something like Chimes instead.
Superior is pretty much a chain version of LaFonda, IMO. You go there for booze and atmosphere, but the food doesn't come close to measuring up. At least LaFonda has the fried rabbit.

Yes. Corner of Kaliste Saloom and Camelia, across from Parc Lafayette on the only undeveloped corner of that intersection, with all the nice oak trees.
On topic, I agree that Don's is a very good guess due to large seating capacity, good food, good bar, and seems to be packed very often.

In Shreveport might also have to be superior grill..... place is packed every night to the point where they invade other parking lots...and other not parking lots. Not to mention the profit on a fricking $22 house marg has got to be insane

In-n-Out Burger has traffic cones set up well into the street with cars lined up for several hundred yards before they even open and it doesn’t let up until they lock the doors.
