You often can't get into Ruth's on even a weeknight without booking a week in advance. I looked on Monday about getting a table any day this week, and couldn't get a single thing to show up until next Monday or Tuesday at 5:15pm (no other times). A week in advance! On a weeknight! Wild.

My second choice in New Orleans is Ruth's, the one in Metairie. The old one on Broad was certainly number one.

Before Covid I would put Houston's up there.

In my neighborhood it's an Italian joint named Tutto Fresco. It's packed every night and you can eat outside year round in South FL.

I'm thinking maybe Tx Roadhouse in Ellic. Never go there, but see how many people are waiting outside all the time.
