Had the burger once and was told to get it animal style ? Was a while back, It was ok from what I remember. The fries I will never forget how horrible they were !

I've only been once and the service during peak lunch when they were packed was fantastic (this was in Phoenix) and burger was really good. I don't remember the fries.
There's a hell of a lot of worse burgers, and its a hell of a lot cheaper then 5 guys.

I think it's more about how so many people act like it's the holy grail of fast food burgers and then when you finally try it you are left disappointed that it didn't meet your expectations. The burgers are decent and better than your McDonald's and Burger Kings of the world.

I guess it's always the cool thing to hate on something that is overhyped.
It's a delicious fast food burger and nothing more. I really like their shakes too. I'm baffled by people who think Five Guys is remarkable in any way, but believe In-N-Out sucks.
