I need a great Christmas party cocktail

Due to Covid, our Christmas party for our neighborhood group that we call DOTD (drinking on the driveway), got delayed. We are having it this weekend.
I’m looking for a good bourbon drink, not an old fashion, to make as the drink of the party.

Last Minute Mulled Wine
Ingredients
1 bottle fruity red wine (such as beaujolais or syrah)
4 ounces bourbon or brandy
4 star anise pods
2 long strips of lemon or orange peel
2 tsp sugar
Garnish: 6 cinnamon sticks

Not a bourbon drink, but if its cold try a hot buttered rum. I was offered this drink for the first time a few Christmases ago and it was delicious. I'm a bourbon guy, and on the initial offering of the drink it sounded like a terrible idea, but I gave in to the prodding, and didn't regret it. Not sure if this is the exact recipe I had originally, but this is good. There are many variations on it as well, also you can make a batch of the mix ahead of time and it will make things easier if you are making it for a group or if you plan on drinking a bunch of them.
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon butter (soft)
1 dash ground cinnamon
1 dash ground nutmeg
1 dash ground allspice
1 splash vanilla extract
2 ounces rum (dark)
5 ounces water (hot)
ETA:
If you must do a bourbon, I'd do a hot toddy.

If you can still find apple cider you can make a killer punch with it. I did it for christmas and everyone enjoyed it.
Apple Cider
Sparkling white grape juice
Ginger Ale
a lemon and lime squeezed into it
cinnamon stick and anise pod

As for mixing cocktails rather than a punch, I do these when I am in the mood for some mixing.
This is one I made up (I think)
1oz bourbon
.25oz St Germain
.25oz 99 apples
2oz tonic
Nor'Easter from the NYT
2oz bourbon
.5oz maple syrup
.5oz lime juice
ginger ale
shake all but ginger ale, pour into collins glass filled with ice then top with the GA
Also Diffords Guide is a great resource for cocktails. You can get lost in all the recipes and techniques they have here, but I have mixed up some amazing drinks using it.

Not bourbon based, but I like the Six Geese A-Laying Cocktail.
This one is a big hit with the ladies too.
Ingredients
.5 oz Grey Goose
.5 oz plum jam
2 tsp Cointreau
Juice of a quarter of a lime
Mix ingredients together, and top with prosecco
