He's not too bad IRL. But he sucks at golf. Hooks it all the time.

If you don't like my list of favorite beers, have the guts to make your own instead of bashing mine.

Beer flavored beer is a play on words joke, you moron.

The flavor in beer comes from the hops. Otherwise it would taste like sourdough bread.

In my opinion Heineken has the best hops flavor.

I was actually expecting this thread to go far worse than it has

ETA: German brews are about as "pure" as they get, using only water, malt, yeast, and hops, yet I'm sure the OP would take one sip of a good Weissbier and say it doesn't taste like beer

I haven't read this whole thread but I saw that you've got a Strawberry Mango saison going.

The saison that I was asking about last week or so was intended to be a strawberry Saison.

1.060

11lb pils
.75 wheat malt
.75 munich

147 mash temp

1.75 Hallertau @ 60
.75 Hallertau @ flameout

Wyeast 3725 Belgian Saison....

with about 5lbs of Strawberries in in secondary.

What you think?

If you take issue with this statement, you are the one who doesn't know much about beer.

I bet most of the people who criticized my list don't know shite about beer and are confusing skunkiness with stronger hop (as in beer) flavor.

Budweiser deserves special praise too. As far as I know, they are the only beer that gets its carbonation from natural fermentation. All other beers including probably every micro-brewed beer carbonates their beer artifically.

I'm still waiting for someone else to post a list of their favorite beers.

Cowards!

You truly are clueless on the hops profiling.

ETA: Heinie IBU 23
Generic IPA: Sweetwater 420 IBU 65. C'mon, dude. Heine is more of a pale lager with a hint of hops, skunky variety or not. There is not a hint of stronger ales, much less stouts, porters, or ESBs on your list, which by default rules out a huge number of good to great beers, whether from craft breweries or mass producers.

Hoppiness confused with skunkiness? The lovely four pack of Hop Head Red in my fridge disagrees.

Seriously, you're either trolling hard or woefully out of your depth
