So the the Board of Supervisors need to make sure there is an exit strategy inked in the next contract.

Frank has probably the worst RB rotation I’ve ever seen. He keeps trying to use our slowest person on the roster, Juan Johnson, Harlem berry has a great run and then he takes him out the next play.
Frank isn’t untouchable. No one is,

I’m definitely not business savvy for sure and I am emotional. We got destroyed by aTm last night for the whole country to see on prime time, at home at a night game at LSU.
We should all be emotional. I just want LSU to have an exit strategy inked in the next contract of our next HC

Blame Sexton for the extension. That was Coach O’s agent who scored the extension. Woodward didn’t call his bluff.
He’s too busy trying to act like a 25 years old influencer and become a celebrity
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe he’s at his Alma mater. He’s already had ASU in the playoff and he’s killing it.

I’m okay with paying the RIGHT HC north of 10M.
I just want an exit strategy inked in the contract, back to back seasons of 8 wins or less, LSU can exit the contract or pay significantly less on a buyout. Something that gives LSU some leverage

Agree fully. I mentioned that a lot of money for a great HC doesn’t seem to be going away.
But if we can get terms of maybe “if LSU has 2 seasons of 8 wins or less in a row, they reserve the right to exit the contract”
Something like that. Idk but man these coaches are getting paid. I think they understand the EXPECTATION at LSU and if they can’t meet the basics (9/10 wins or more) then LSU needs an easy exit strategy inked in the contract

Sure it’s a Woodward problem on the HC choice. I agree with you for sure. But these contracts.. No matter who the AD is, Sexton is taking them for a ride every time on the contract terms.

Fair enough - I hear you and I’m willing to agree
My main point remains. Sexton puts out rumors for Lane Kiffin 13.5 million fully guaranteed from the Florida gators.
LSU will have to match or offer 14 million?
Anyone in the know… who is helping Woodward when he’s getting anal fricked by sexton with no lube? Anyone

Woodward has gone 2/4
Mulley and Jay are amazing
Kelly and McMahon suck (I don’t fully blame McMahon cause he’s got a shite sandwich situation)
People are saying fire Woodward but he signed a bad friggin deals he’s also got 2 other HC’s that are simply amazing. I’m not ready to cut the cord on him, but he completely botched the football HC. I’m okay to give him another shot,.. BUT
I want lawyers and fricking business men on the next HC contract negations.

Jimmy Sexton has taken damn near every AD fo a ride a these athletic directors have no business skills and sign these 10 year 95 million dollar FULLY guaranteed contracts.
It’s time to call Sexton’s bluff on a coach leaving - it happened with FSU and Mike Norvell when the Bama HC position opened up, he was seen as “a target” and got an insane extension which they are absolutely hating themselves for now.
Why? Cause Sexton put out rumors that Norvell was gonna leave for the bama position and FSU was scared to call the bluff and ponied up.
A lot of money for a great HC didn’t seem to be going away, but it’s time LSU and other universities get some goddamn business people in the contract negotiations. Sexton and Woodward fricked us.

It shouldn’t be a pentalty in the defense if the oline flinches. Once they set for snap, they know not to move. Why should defenses get penalized for their mistakes?
Oline can easily move now off any little shift or twitch from the DLine and this rule can be manipulated

DLine Shift causing false start is a DLine penalty now

F’ing dumb
TLDR: if the Dline all shifts to the left or right and the Oline moves for what is normally a false start, it is now a defensive penalty.
This is stupid AF
quote:
McDaid explained how the defensive false start, which officially will be termed defensive delay of game, will work: "The definition of a false start has forever been action that simulates the snap," McDaid told reporters Tuesday in Atlanta at the SEC's annual media bonanza. "That's standard, action that simulates the snap is now put on the defense as well, and the officials are being asked to judge defensive movement in that light.
quote:
"This is action that has now been written into the rules, codified that it's illegal, it's what we call delay of game defense. This is not a false start on the offense. The defense cannot simulate action of a snap for the purpose of trying to get his opponent to move prior to the snap."

Oh frick off dude - OP derailed it by posting his record & claiming Les “kept LSU football in the golden era”
You seem miserable bud. He did go 114-34 which is 77% win rate.
You want to count the vadal bs against him? Did you not watch the games? LSU played and won them and now of all time. You wanna say the NCAA is right to ‘vacate’ it all.
Some LSU fans are never satisfied
I don’t think you’ll find a single LSU fan who excuses what happened on 1/9/2012.
After that point it was tough and everyone agrees change was needed, but he was a great coach.

Teams used to fear tiger stadium and our defensive under Les were always top notch savages with a certain swag.
People used to clown him for doing the Big Cat drills but it created a mentality that we really haven’t had on defense since his tenure

Your opinion is yours. Les was great for LSU and won at a high clip during the absolute most dominant era of SEC football. Some people aren’t satisfied

That’s fine, but others figured it out.
Orgeron, Kelly, Dabo, Kirby, Urban, Hugh Freeze, etc
Let’s look at the coaches you named:
Orgeron record vs Saban: 1-6
Kelly record vs Saban: 1-3
Dabo record vs Saban: 2-2
Kirby record vs Saban: 1-4
Urban record vs Saban: 2-2
Hugh Freeze record vs Saban: 2-4
Les Miles record against Saban: 3-7
Notice NO ONE had even a winning record against him. Temper your expectations
