I've been on a Keto diet so I bought some Spam because it seemed like a good snack and it didn't disappoint.
I've been taking slices and just throwing them in the cast iron until I get a little char on each side, then melting some cheese on top and adding a slice of tomato with some black pepper.
Great snack. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Pan fried Spam sandwich w/ Mayo, sliced cheddar on sugar free whole grain bread.
What do the letters in SPAM stand for?
Spam is a canned meat food made by the Hormel Foods Corporation. ... The Hormel Foods Corporation once said that it means "Shoulder of Pork and Ham", but in some dictionaries "Spam" means "spiced ham". Members of staff at the SPAM museum say it stands for Specially Produced American Meat.

I always like spam cooked up like that. My kids won’t even look at it. It really gets a bad rap.

Spicy spam with mustard on a cheap bun is my go to fishing snack.
An old guy traded me one for a beer from our cooler once and I was hooked.

Love it cooked just that way. It is the official canned meat of Hawaii, too.
I must have a photo somewhere.

Pan fried (it’s spam so I’m not pretending to sauté) spam, 2 soft scrambled eggs on toasted buttered white bread.
Good stuff.
Can substitute good rag bologna for spam. Cut slice in sliced bologna to keep it from curling.
I like to cube it, pan fry and stir into cheese grits.

I’m in a deer stand at the moment reading about all these SPAM meals. My grandmother used to sling a good spam and egg sammich for breakfast.
I think I’ll be stopping to get a can this morning go breakfast.

Paneed Spam is amazing.
Slice it up, beat an egg, dip it in the egg and then breadcrumbs, into the frying pan on low heat with a little oil, flip, then put it on toast and enjoy.
Never gets old. Always tastes good.

Grew up eating Spam. My dad would cut into small cubes and brown it. Then he'd scramble eggs in it...loved it.
