Finally the D's spend it all philosophy pays off. I would rather my tax dollars go to sweet sweet fried pies than LBTGQXYZ studies in Pakistan.

Overrated for sure, but sorely missed by many.
One of my brother-in-laws passed away last week and was living in N. Georgia at the time. Every time he came to N.O. he'd ask if Hubig was back in business since he loved those pies as a kid before moving away.
That and gorging himself at Rocky & Carlos as often as he could since he grew up less than a mile away from the place.
