We usually fill with 8 cups of water and do 4-4.5 tablespoon scoops of coffee.

Ratio I use is 14 grams of water for every gram of coffee. Typically do single cup pour over with 17.5 grams of coffee

Add more milk. Or hot water.

I work offshore. We drink strong coffee. 12 cup makers we usually use two big scoops. Offshore coffee is no for people who don't like strong arse coffee!

For 12 cups of water, I put 4 scoops.

6 scoops for our 8 cup OXO coffee maker. I believe the instructions are more towards 8 to 8.
As a side note, when saying "cups", a cup of coffee is not considered 8 oz's water.

I grind mine. I use the same preset setting every day and always use the lines on the side of the pot to get water to 8 cups.. easy enough.

Unless you’re using the same 2 scoops Post Raisin Bran used, that is some weak arse coffee.

1 gram of coffee to 15 grams of water. That's the ratio I use in my coffee maker.

For my french press I do 1/2 cup of coffee to 3 cups of water. Ratio seems to work just fine, but it's a pain to clean the thing all the time.

1 table spoon of coffee per 2 cups water (not an actual cup, but the measurement on the pot)
I don’t water it down with sugar and creamer. I drink it straight so I don’t make it real strong.

One heaping tablespoon per cup of water.
Usually go for 6 cups if it's just me or 8-9 if my wife wants some.
That's over the top, in my opinion.

Started out with Community's recs. Too Strong. For a full 10-12 cup decanter, I now use 3/4 cup.

8 cup (6 oz per cup) Bonavita drip coffee maker: 4 level scoops (2 T per scoop) of Illy or Lavazza ground coffee.

I had to measure to get an accurate account and see where I use 1/2 cup of CDM Coffee & Chickory grounds for a 12 cup pot every morning.
That makes for a relatively strong pot of coffee that gets me going every day.

1/3 cup dark roast in my 4 cup coffee maker. I’m the only one at home that drinks it
