In the fridge? I can make some mean fried rice with it but this has been sitting for a week and not sure. Can’t tell with smell since so garlicky and spicy

The fat has likely gone rancid.

-Drink ~1/3 of a cup.
-Wait 5-6 days for any adverse reaction.
-If none, proceed with fried rice.

Leftover seafood no more than three days in fridge for me. Toss it, IMO.

If I don’t use it by the next day it’s gone. A week is way too long.

Depends on how long they sat out in the hot sun. Even under best conditions, one week is the absolute limit. At just 3 days, I’m very careful.

If you boil with salt and seasoning you're fine especially if you re-frying with rice.

People are such pussies now with food, throwing good food away because of some arbitrary timeline.

Does it smell ok? Peel it, taste it. If good, fried rice LFG!

I excitedly eat leftovers regularly that the wife warns "That is too old". I never get sick. Though I do have limits.

Your "week old crawfish" I'd probably avoid. Probably. If I did decide to risk it I certainly wouldn't feed it to someone else.
