I am with Gumbo on this!

I like my oatmeal in cookie form. Raisin pecan, or chips and pecans.

I cannot for the life of me eat cooked oats. Very odd. I eat overnight oats every morning.

Steel cut or quick, whole milk, cinnamon, honey, peanut butter.

With a little cinnamon, butter, pecans, milk or heavy cream, raisins and sugar.

The wife cooks it in milk and I like that too.

I usually eat oatmeal in place of grits with my eggs and egg whites. I didn't think it would be good originally but it's good. Oatmeal is way better with sugar and cinnamon in it, but it's a solid breakfast with eggs that helps with my macros

Ever try Malt-O-Meal? I never had it growing up, but discovered it when looking for ideas for feeding our handicapped son, whose eating skills were very limited. He enjoyed chocolate malt o meal, peanut butter malt o meal, or topped with fig preserves, jam, or just butter, sugar, cinnamon.

Y’all should try malt o meal!

Anyone ever eat Oat Bran? Some food blogger that came up in my feed (I can't find it now) had a whole post about oat bran, and how it's underappreciated. They were using it for a bunch of savory recipes, kind of like grits.

I still haven't tried it, though. I have some weird heuristic that associates oat bran with 80-year-olds in a nursing home.
