I’ve got four left from the original recipe if you want them? These predate the “baby ghost” recipe. I’ve been saving them for a special occasion.

There definitely has been a change in attitude towards Envie. I used to sell the hell out of it. Now that Holy Roller and Jucifer is around people barely touched it and I got rid of it

I've tried four of their beers and haven't liked any of them.

To me, they are the worst brewery in New Orleans.

Anyone here enjoy Stone’s IPA’s, especially their ruination?

The original Ruination was fantastic but I don't really care for the 2.0 at all.

I agree. Green flash made a good west coast ipa but I haven’t had it lately

I like Green Flash a lot. One of my go-to IPAs is Firestone-Walker Union Jack. The Easy Jack is more sessionable and also good. And I like Pinner from Oskar Blues too.

I've always thought Envie sucked, but I'm a big fan of Ghost.

Juicier and Holy Roller are the current GOATs.

I’m just joking around. It’ll be ok. Lighten up.

It’s beer.

Wasn’t exactly told when I’d be able to get it on draft but I think that’s accurate.

The DDH Envie I just finished was quite tasty.

Parish has fallen off for sure. Not sure anyone else has really risen their game enough to take the throne though.

How has Parish fallen off?

Ghost is as good as ever. Bloom is always legit. Reve is great. The SIPS series seems to be popular.

Are you basing that on only Envie’s popularity waning, which was bound to happen once newer accessible beers entered the market?

Isn’t Parish planning an expansion soon?

I have had Ghost this summer from 4 or 5 different batches. I picked up a couple of packs from the brewery that were dated 8-8 and they were definitly not as good as the others. I have let them sit a couple of weeks but they are still not as good as batches earlier this summer to me.

Maybe it is just hard to be that consistent with that much hops?

Not as good as it used to be, though to be fair some of it may be other breweries raising their game over the last few years.

The entire brewery? What do you consider it’s peak?

And I don’t know what Ghost you are drinking if you think it has changed or fallen off.

Outside of their outsourced beer, I don’t think they have fallen off at all. I think others have stepped up their game imo

There is so much good beer available to buy now in Louisiana compared to the recent past. It is truly a good thing
