You mean the pale ale that’s $14 for a 4 pack?

Parish has always been super inconsistent to me. Each batch is way different than the one before it. Which would necessarily be bad, except sometimes it’s just not that good to me.

Idk if that’s intentional on their part, but it’s noticeable. I kind of get it with Ghost when they’re doing different things with it, but not with their flagships.

I’m talking both. And the can I had was the second batch that everyone loved.

I had a couple of 6 packs in the last 2 months that were WAY over carbonated and a couple a little over carbonated.

Besides that I think it’s still about the same. Probably just spoiled by the availability of better beers, Parish or otherwise.

It would be nice to have good local hops without paying $15 a 4-pack. Smdh

I find Abita Hop On remarkably decent. Am I not supposed to?

I thought hop on was garbage, but I was also smashed and double fisting with a gin and tonic.

when you say it’s not good can ya explain it some

The initial mouth feel is a sensation of effervescence and foam which amplifies and slightly swells as it travels down throat and leaves behind a rusty/coppery/metallic taste similar to what one would experience after putting a handful of pennies in thier mouth. Basically is fizzes and tastes like the bottle cap. A cruder man may even compare it to alka seltzer and vagina.

Can say I picked some up this weekend, bottle date was less than a month but more than 2 weeks. Was not really impressed, would certainly prefer Jucifer over it. I thought that the bottles would not change but it certainly wasn't how I remembered it.

It had a metallic taste, the aroma was non-existent, and it felt watery in the mouth. Not what I expected really. I did get the hop bite but it was very minor and didn't drink like previous batches imo. Could be a bad 6 pack as that was the first I've bought in 2-3 months.

I've been drinking Jucifer and Holy Roller instead of Envie for a while now. Ghost is still top notch though.

Yeah was the first time I picked it up since Summer of Ghost started, since June I've had Ghost or Jucifer and then last weekend I picked up some Envie. Mainly because my local spot was out of Ghost but I was not impressed by it, I drank it because it was not horrible but not what I remembered.

Because the tide pods finally cleaned your mouth sufficiently enough to recognize it has always tasted like shite.

I haven't been drinking much lately but the freshest envie I see in shv is all may dated. I had one last week in the mixed Sixpack and it seemed to taste normal to me.
