Hey all...I'll be in Houston next week for about a week of work meetings. Any breakfast, lunch, or dinner recommendations in the convention center area (close to Minute Maid Park)?

Rodeo Goat (burgers), Local Foods (sandwiches/salads), MKT Bar (Mediterranean), Conservatory (food hall with different options),Truck Yard (rotating food truck park) for lunch.

Xochi (authentic Mexican), Potente (Italian), Osso & Kristalla (Italian), Nancy's Hustle (New American...whatever that means), OG Ninfa's on Navigation (Tex Mex), El Tiempo on Navigation (Tex Mex), Oporto Fooding House (Portuguese tapas/small plates) for dinner.

These are all in Downtown/East Downtown or Midtown. There are a ton of other spots that are a short uber ride away from Downtown that will give you much better options in my opinion if you'd like those.

Thanks for the numerous Mexican/Tex-Mex options that aren't named Pappasito's. I think I'm going to be eating as much Mexican as possible so I will probably give Xochi, Ninfa's, and El Tiempo all a try.

The best chicken wings are at Timmy Chan on MLK.
It's a hood spot and only accepts cash.
It's legit, though.

Nancy's is legit....haven't had Potente but a bunch of folks speak pretty highly of it.
