why can't people give straight answers and be happy with others choices? So many pricks on this website it's no wonder why most sane gentlemen don't bother with the dipsticks and political nonsense of others. Too many boneheads quick to judge and give a negative fricking rating instead of straightforward answers - frick all you teen, twenty, and thirty something ****

Went to his steakhouse in Vegas. You have to get the Beef Wellington. I’m sure the recipe is the same at every location.

Do you have to stay at the Horseshoe? It's in Westlake, not Lake Charles. It has no amenities like the casinos in Lake Charles do. It's a completely different experience.

Havent been to lake charles one but went in vegas. It was a solid stteakhouse

Umami sushi is darn good
Cajun Charlies for a Paradise Poboy (great sandwich)
Shell station at 108 & 27 in Carlyss for venison breakfast burrito
I'm not really a casino guy so no insight there. Enjoy the trip.

I don't "have to" rather i choose to upgrade to diamond "tier" status for the rest of this year and all of 2027 to help with Mardi Gras NOLA trip in January. I don't drink, don't eat much sugar or salty foods. Really dgaf about amenities any more. This is a one-time ordeal to hit the Caesars Diamond Tier and because the Lake Charles property is offering a 5x tier credits bonus, i should reach the level by day 2 then I come back to Alex. Over a 13 year period, you get limited benefits with having a black players card at Coushatta in Kinder and Paragon in Marksville. The last thing I'd do is be miserable at a concert described as country when most of that crap is Pop or Rock, including hillbilly Lainey. I like my peace dude. Get in, get out, get on with my life. Thanks for your time wasted non suggestion

Dude, I was trying to be helpful. You mentioned nothing about any of the above in your original post. I was trying to steer you in another direction if you wanted the resort experience of one of the nicer casinos in the area and didn't want you expecting to be in a nice part of Lake Charles when you'll be in Westlake, which is very different.
In any event, the steakhouse in Westlake is good. I hope you enjoy it.

I know plenty of old baws that aren't that bright but have some manners because their parents raised them right. Please don't conflate baws, old age, or intelligence with having a bad attitude. Many guys on this board have 1-3 of those traits but I would gladly have a beer with them any day.
