My wife got a dinner of:
Crab cakes
Spinach salad with blood orange vinaigrette
Lamb chops, broccoli, and rosemary fingerling potatoes
Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and fresh berries.
Yeah, she is a luck lady.

Things that I would never allow in my kitchen.
This would work better if you actually understood how to frickin use it.

I chuckled at this.

The sear could be better, maybe it's just the pic. How hot was the grill?

I cooked steaks for four. Me, the fiancee, her sister and brother in law.
Bought some beautiful cuts of meat at Fresh Market. 2 Filets, 2 Ribeyes, and made some prosciutto and garlic cheese wrapped asparagus.
Awesome meal.
All i did for the steaks was add kosher salt, cracked pepper, and olive oil.
For the asparagus, you just smear the soft cheese
on the prosciutto and wrap the asparagus and sprinkle some olive oil. Broil it on high for 5 minutes.
It was fantastic. No seasoning needed.

I cooked the wife some salmon over raosted beets and an aparagus orzo salad with a little dill and caper sauce. And a little lava cake for dessert.

My eight year old made enchiladas. Life is a little different after 3 kids and 14 years of marriage.

My wife shows her love for me by NOT cooking. If she hated me and wanted me to suffer she'd make dinner.

Why would anyone not allow cheese in their house.....If you don't like it then don't eat it!!??
Is this a religious thang I've never heard of?

My wife doesn't allow cheese in our house. At all. No matter what the dish is.
