8 have a friend that won't but anything from Parish because Andrew was such a jackass on a tour in the early days.

Talked about how his IIPA was on par with Heady and his Amber was the best amber ever, but it wasn't brewed.

Sort of. When going out on a Friday night, I avoid places that do not sell beer. There's a small Mexican place here that my wife will suggest that I veto because of it.

Don't know if y'all remember Marisol's in New Orleans, but the chef/owner commented publically that he'd never cook with crawfish because he thought they tasted like shite. I'm not saying that's why they closed, and I loved the place, but I'm sure that didn't help.

I avoid Buffalo Wild Wings. Not just because the food is shitty. They treat their wait staff like shite.

Normally, no. I dont give a shite what your thoughts are if the product is good.... But whatever ends up in the shopping center on the corner of Jefferson and HooShooToo will never see a dime of mine. The developer/owner is a royal first class prick and my company isn't the only one he fricked over on that project.

Not really a politics thing, but when that Jimmy John's on Jefferson used to be a pizza place, the owner was a huuuge tool and would pretty much yell at a customer if they wanted to put more than two toppings on their pizza. Real New York a-hole. Pizza was fricking phenomenal but he was the worst type of person to run a business.

Roul's owner was recently arrested for sexual harassment of a juvenile so I'm probably going to avoid that place for a while.

Define business practices.

If they treat employees and customers poorly, and run a bad business, I will not go.

If they post their political beliefs on facebook, I could care less.

Example: Go online to order Pizza Hut to pick up on way home. Online ordering is broken. I call to order the carryout. Prices over phone are more expensive than online prices. I ask them to honor the online price. Guy says let me ask my manager. Manager gets on phone and absolutely refuses to honor online price, even though online ordering is not working. I say ok I will never order again. I hung up.

I have not ordered from Pizza Hut since.

Business practices, yes i will avoid if its bad.

Political, I'll go if the product is good.

Actions by owners of a business outside of business practice/politics may affect my decision.

Business practices YES
Political views I am against I quit going PERIOD....
specially if extreme. Simply to express a view, no problem.

It is the money from income that gives them platform.
so no I will not support them....their extremism dictates it for me. Anti USA views.. no business.

BTW, I have taught in all my classes as I was taught, that one should not discuss:
religion, sex, politics and/or pay
it is no one's business.

I assume as long as you remain ignorant of their beliefs you will continue to frequent it.

Say they donate a lot of money to Planned Parenthood or The Klan; you are fine with still going as long as you don't know.

Based on the reaction we either have CNN fans, Ben and Jerry’s fans or social media fans.
