Not really. I avoided Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream for a while, but then got over it.
I used to work not far from this tiny place that had some pretty good food. The owner used to keep the big tv on blaring Fox News during lunch and then would walk around talking politics with the old blue hairs the whole time. That annoyed me so I stopped going. Business closed not long after.
I don’t let that kind of stuff bother me in general unless someone is being real extreme or just an a-hole

After reading this article today I will avoid all Mike Isabella restaurants, which is a shame because the food is good and the happy hour specials are pretty decent. Oh well, plenty of other places to spend my money.

Suit says Mike Isabella's group tried to silence harassment claims

Nah, I'll still drink his lower taxed beer even though his choice for Governor has made things harder for the craft beer industry.

Hopefully these steel tariffs don't run up the prices of the 3 chairs he plans to have available on opening day of the new brewery.

My dislike of the bar a few blocks away comes from other business practices not from her lack of minority hires while preaching equality.

Was it him? He has always seemed to have a short fuse.

Or that sandwich guy that got on here and was pissed. That was an epic thread. Gum under the table tops.

As Urine alluded to, a particular local Establishment went after the owner of another Establishment on FB. Essentially calling him names and almost challenging him to a fight. Not the first for this owner as he challenged people on TD to a fight for negative reviews when he opened.

That dude is a yuge douche.

I didnt know you were on the church, you blocked me on Facebook.

The whole damn city of N.O. can go F*** itself. So far I have been pretty successful, moved a 600 person seminar out, April will be the 1st time they have met anyplace else since 1983. If we can get the accommodations, another group of 80-100 will be going to Lafayette, they have been in N.O. since 2004.

Damn I hate that place. I bad mouth it to every group I can. Actually I don't have to do much convincing, the 600 seminar had 2 attendees beaten and robbed last year on Decatur in broad daylight. No police ever showed.

However, I will agree the way that dude has acted has caused me to avoid his restaurant. Not that it matters since I'm one person but still

If I avoided places because of their political views, I’d be missing out on good beer. But I’ve had to block owners of certain places on Facebook because of their trolling and political views. Hint: if you’re a business owner, avoid all political/controversial discussions on social media. It’s just for the better.

I feel with the amount of quality bars now I'm not missing out on much. I've had a block a few owners of certain establishments and on some it hasn't caused me from avoiding them, some it has
