New York Steamer and Hook& Ladder are pretty good. I like them better than Subway.

Love Firehouse. Great subs for the price, IMO. Never leave unsatisfied.

Best chain sub shop hands down.

Subway is not even in the same ballpark as Firehouse.

Subway stays open because of their business plan. Low start up, small rent spaces, low overhead (they probably don't have more than 6 employees at one store), and the head office helps them out a lot by doing a shitload of marketing.

Firehouse is delish, but be prepared to pay 12$ for a footlong meal deal

As already said, nothing special, but better than subway, Quiznos, etc.

Definitely better than Subway, but really not something I'll go out of my way for.

Firehouse is better than Subway but my preference in this sector (Jimmy John's, Firehouse, etc.) is Jersey Mikes. Quality sandwiches and decent prices.

Better than the rest. Like all the hot sauces on the counter. Italian is the best

This Firehouse Subs Restaurant is priced almost identical to the Subway. The franchisee wants to make an impact on the consumer to show the consistency, quality, and portion size compared to the competition.

Nothing really special about firehouse subs. Kind of a crappy location to have on in BR though.
