While I am certainly no connoisseur I had the chicken sharma and feta salad. It was really good. Seemed like a half lb of chicken and a delicious feta dressing.

The feta dressing is fantastic. And I think you’re a connoisseur.

Albasha has the best Greek dressing I've had anywhere and it's not even close.

Their mezza platter is one of life's great pleasures.

I love me some Albasha. Chicken plate sub salad for rice and grape leaves for hummus is my standard order.

You've never had Cafe Green in Denham Springs

If you are from Baton Rouge, you don't realize how spoiled this city is when it comes to Greek/Lebanese/Mediterranean food. There's good stuff everywhere.

It’s true. Went to Greece recently. The food at the good places in BR is as good as the real thing

I like that Albasha gives you free Grecian dip on the side with their salads.

^ This! Moved out of BR and Greek/ Mediterranean food places are much less prevalent and still not as good as BR places. Hell half of the gas stations in BR serve better Lebanese food than I can find where I live.

Albasha is Legit!!

The one in Slidell needs to have their waitstaff reevaluate their summer job choice. Food is still good though.

Just went to Albasha Express on Lee because of this thread.

Also, just realized that another Lebanese place has opened up where Canefield Tavern used to be. It's called Jordian Lebanese Restaurant.

Anyone been to or know anything about the place opening up where Canefield Tavern was. Sign says Jordanian Lebanese.
